Kristin Posehn’s work is an inquiry into light, technology, and architecture. The paintings from this series reference works of California Light and Space, and are derived from observations of skyscrapers. Inside the core of financial centers around the world, skyscrapers reflect back neighboring skyscrapers. In these reflections, a rectilinear grid is broken into enigmatic, undulating patterns that never repeat, evoking associations to language and code.
