Spitting in corners v 1, Bronze, steel with Black Magic patina, 48 x 88 1/2 x 72”, 2024
Spitting in corners v 1 continues Brodsky’s investigation of the poetics of futility in the structures that govern everyday life. In this new body of work, Brodsky introduces elements of Baba Yaga’s mythological house on chicken feet, drawing parallels between the witch’s sentient house and contemporary smart home technologies.
